Engine tick-over/idle question

Hi Guys,

Bought my little Red beast a couple weeks ago and i'm loving it so far, Just wondering what the normal Idle/Tickover RPM is for these cars?

I've got a K-Tec exhaust on and on a cold start it'll be around 1.1k RPM, after leaving for two minutes this will drop a little maybe by a couple .1 RPM

After driving for a little period it will IDLE around 0.8k RPM

Is that normal?

Sounds about right, mine sits around 1.1-1.2K on cold start then drops to about 900rpm once warm.

Yeah it does sound fine - mine is similar ~.9k at idle

Yeah always best to check if there's something bugging you it's easy to get paranoid with these cars!

absolutely normal..nothing to worry about...

All good, scary at first but it settles itself, I think they all pretty much behave this way.
