Engine Oil

So hi-jacking this thread a tiny bit....

Having been fighting with the stealers lately, 1l of oil was burnt off on a 2000 mile trip to Scotland and back from Sussex...

They say it is within tolerances, I am sure it shouldnt need a drip feed of oil attached at all times.....

Does anyone elses burn it that fast?

Mine had burnt ~1l in 5000 km. It's about 3000 miles. Also don't no if it's ok

i do sussex to oxford twice most weekends and rarely need a topup and when it does its only a cupfull
