Depends what you want from the car. It’s either a track car, or a road car which you can also do TF in.

I’ve made the trip many times with purple/yellows and only the front carpet. The lack of AC, poor stereo, ridiculously stiff suspension, gripper diff, and noisy exhaust made it far from pleasurable when going over on your own.

It’s one of the reasons I got rid of it was because it was so bad on the road. By comparison, the megane is like a limo, but then it is compromised when I’m doing uk days.

Cheers @RSRowe I think I have my answer.

Add interior carpets in to the front and try and just be uncomfortable for the trip to Germany once a year. Car only gets driven on the road rarely outside of track day commutes.
