Hi,

please take a look at the attached picture, am I right in thinking threre should be a cover of some sort over what seems to be a rubber diaphragm?

thats one of the blanking plugs for the back of the cam where the timing tool fits....looks like its either been leaking and someone has put sealer round it - or the cambelt has been changed and the blanking plug re-used and re-sealed with silicone sealer

either way bit of a "bodge" - should have just fitted a new seal!!!! :001_rolleyes:
