This would be easier to use I'd say

Depends how posh you want to be, i allways find a couple of lengths of string, a couple of axle stands and a measuring stick works but it helps if your on a ramp and can turn the wheels or have something for the wheels to turn slightly on.

In some situations i have used two sheets of metal lightly lubed, this acts as a free plate for the wheels to turn on, not the best but works well.

The string trick is very good.

there great as long as you make sure you "calibrate" them first before use and have good lighting :wiz:
