Hey there ,

does anybody know whats the difference between these dampers ?
Dialogys says the 8200926467 is for the early 200 with big domes, and
the 543025293R is for the late 200 with small domes. When i ordered
a pair for "late model/small domes" , they delivered 8200926467 to me.
When i asked about this , they say , they will fit . OK, but when they are
identical, why are there still two part numbers with different prices ?

It's possible that there is some internal differences, but I can't see that being the case personally.
As you've seen, both are 200 cup shock part numbers, so I'd just go with whatever is cheapest (which is what I did when I fitted the 200 cup shocks to my ff 197).

It's pretty bonkers that they used to be about £40 each.

Before you fitted them, did you have non-cup shocks? If so, was it a worthwhile upgrade?

Depends on how you want to use the car.
For strictly road, if you have lowering springs, I would steer away from them and use the non-cup 197 shocks.
I enjoy a good spirited drive, to be honest. I do feel like the original shocks I have lack a bit. Too much body roll around corners, I find...
