Diamond motors - recent experience.

Hi all

My local renault specialist is Mick at Diamond motors. My car went to him last week for a service and health check, it was also lowered (finally) and had HEL lines put on including a brake service. The car kicked up a little problem with a stripped bolt on a rear caliper and the HEL lines having the gubbings on the wrong ends... But Mick when out of his way and sorted this!

No doubt, Mick did a class job! He is a site trader over on Cliosport. However he said he isn't on here. He did say he had tried to contact admin, I'm not sure from the admin side, but I'd like to see Mick on here as he is really passionate and good at what he does. It it would be nice to see Mick on here.

But this is just a shout out to anyone in the Nottigham/derby area looking for somewhere to go.

Cheers Mick!!

Will

Another thumbs up for Mick @ Diamond Motors, he worked on my Trophy and is spot on, and yes he's one of the best guys for electrical work, even has nearby garages using him for his expertise.

Ask him to contact Jase and I'm sure he will be welcomed in as a site trader

He can also do official services as well, he has access to Renaults system to update log history and stamp books etc.

Hes done my Meganes first service for example, screw going near official dealers

Oh, hai everyone [waves]

When some of you say you need "electrical" work done what exactly do you need doing? It's worth noting that I'm not a tuner or an engine builder as I practice the dark art that is automotive electrics and networking.

Battery re-locations aren't difficult and not really electrical work but I'll gladly do them. One area of the business I'm keen to grow in the not too distant future is the bespoke wiring and infrastructure services which would suit for example serious track vehicles needing CAN enabled data acquisition linked in to displays and engine management systems etc. If that's your thing just drop me a pm or message me via our website as I'm currently looking for some decent project cars to use as guinea pigs/demo cars.

I will drop Jase a pm tomorrow as I'm in the pub now and I've purposefully not put my website link in as I don't want to get my pants pulled down before I've started but again, if you need help on anything please get in touch.
