Dealer offered to change cam belt for £560 all in with 5 years warranty. Would you take it or leave it? The cheapest independent specialist I found was about about £100 cheaper but with only 12 months warranty.

I'd snatch there hands off after yo've got that in writting as Renault UK's parts warranty is only for 12 months.

I'm not a trader so can't advertise my company (yet) but I do the Clio III F4R for £380 with water pump, aux kit, seals, Type-D, etc (less dephaser) but i'll only give a 12 month warranty on the parts as that's all Renault give me on them.

Local Renault dealer did my 197 cambelt+auxbelt kit & waterpump for 599€
which is 521£.

Only 12 months warranty for parts & labour.

its not excessive compared to some quotes - get the "warranty" in wrting and what it includes but at that price think i would have it done :thumbup:
