De-cats, are they weld on or bolt on?

Hi thinking of getting a de-cat, do these require welding in, or do they just bolt in?

Generally clamp. If you buy the K-tec one, that comes with a clamp for the end nearest the rear of the car and uses the existing V-clamp where the current cat attaches near the front of the car.

Cool thanks, do they make any warning lights come on etc?

Had mine in for a while now an no lights ect.

And I assume the standard Cat just unbolts or do you have to cut the pipe?

Got a feeling it's a cut job, mines still attached to the rest of the old exhaust.

Unbolts one side and cuts off the other. You can use the clamp that comes with the decat to re-attach the cat if you need to.
