Cup Springs versus H&R Ride Height.

Hi I do apologise if I've missed the thread for this question feel free to point me in the right direction,I'm looking to lower my 197 as on the current Cup springs it sits too high for my liking,I found some H&R lowering springs that have a 30mm Front and 40mm Rear lowering,will this be valid only for non Cup springs or it will still lower the car by these amount even with Cup springs? I don't know the difference in height between Cup and non Cup if there is any hence my confusion,thank you.

Cup is about 8mm lower than non-cup.

Yep. It is not that low, completely fine driving over speedbumps. For my usage its excellent height.
