Do the race cars run spacers?

I know the wheels are an 8J but I'm sure I heard somewhere that they ran different sized spacers front and back... Could be dreaming that tho..

I can't remember having seen spacers on one and the 8J wheels do push the wheels near enough to the edge of the arch I would of thought....

I've been trying to find a picture of one sans wheels but not had much luck :\

I thought that too about the rim filling the arch but sure I heard something about 5mm spacers.

from what i hear its to allow under arch clearance when running extreme front neg camber . Although some seem fine without ? ride height changes ?

5MM spacers at front to clear the strut with wider wheels. When I have my 8J wheels fitted they rub on the coilovers on lock.

Ah! That'll be why the studs don't stick out as far on the front as they do on the rear then

The guy from 20/10 racing was telling me why there are so many scuffed/scraped wheels on the clios, the spokes bow out slightly and when the cars get too close to each other the wheels interlock, this normally results in a broken steering arm and the end of the race.
