Cruise control illumination

This power switch for cruise control works ok, but i don have illumination on it. Is it broken or this is normal?

My car isn't with me at the moment but from what i remember it never had any illumination...

Just the green light on the dash when on

I've not really used it to be honest but it's green for cruise and orange for the speed limiter on mine I think.

Do you mean the button itself doesn't light up? Honestly not sure if mine does or not, I'll check when I'm next in it.

If I'm honest I ALWAYS end up turning off the ESP first before saying "sh*t" and then turning on the speed limiter saying "sh*t" again and then finally turning on the cruise control, by which point I no longer want it on anyway.

yess i mean on the button. its clio 197. and i found out today that the little led inside is broken
