Conti SC 5's

Anyone know what the difference is between the 91 and the 87? Been quoted £122.21 for the 91s and £124.27 for the 87s.

Cheers,

Josh.

As fox says it will be down to the amount they sell and down to price they there for get them at.

Iirc you add both tyres on front or back and it must equal the weight placed on them or something.

So provided they do you are ok.

It's raining but iirc mine are 91s and iirc they were 87 by default.

I'm guessing it's down to wall rigidity?

Yeah down to side-wall strength which is affected mainly by the weight of the car. As the Clio is fairly light it runs 87's.. (for ref my lasses 206 has 83's)

If you run 91's (which is fine, but you can't go the other way) then the tyre won't be as supple, weather you actually notice a difference is another story! but I'd always use the 87's as that's what the chassis is set up around.

IIRC 87's are available from Camskill at £101 plus delivery, plus fitting locally.
