anyone try to remove the first cat??

i almost brought a second hand manifold off ebay just to get the 1st cat chopped off, but then i thought there wouldnt be much difference as all the exhaust companies i have spoken too say the standard one is very very good and that there is no point doing one for it.

thats exactly what i thought, but maybe they where planning one and now there not????? i was on the yozza stand at FCS 08 and i think he was saying something bout one, not sure tho...

It will run shit on a STD ECU, you get a faltspot with the 2nd cat out let alone the 1st but people wont listen to me!!!!!!!!!!

You have to take your exhaust manifold with the pre-cat off and send it to them. Then they cut the pre-cat off and weld hmmm dunno the english word for this but hope you understand - they weld a flange on both ends something like this so you know what I mean and after that you can put either the decat pipe on or your pre-cat back on :tongue_smilie:

That picture made me laugh! Thanks I understand. I've come to realize 280 euros is £250 tho and it would take weeks to transport etc
