Clio 200t, tyre skip when on on full lock

I had this and my car has been back to Renault several times but last week when it was in they got there new master tech to look in to the several issues I had and he checked with Renault technical , it resulted in the car having several software updates including the gearbox and this has fixed the scrubbing issues there is a compensator valve on the diff and this can cause problems after the software update it is acting as it should now, if you have this problem I would check with your dealer

How old is your car? Did they say what exactly it was causing it other than gearbox software?

Mine is a July 2013 there is a compensator valve which limits diff lock up as part of the software down load they carried out it seams to of cured the issue

That's funny I was told there was no updates for my car and mine is June 2013, and mine still skips. Need a word with Renault!!!

Mine still skips, and it was in for a service last November where it had all updates and spoiler recall done. Mine is a September 2014 car

There's a guy on cliosport.net who had his software updated for the box and said it made a world of difference. They quoted him something like 40 quid. I've not rung my dealership yet to see if I can get it.

Mine does this too. They didn't know what I meant last time or they couldn't get it to do it. I'll be having a test drive with them though when it's back in for some other bits later this month.
