Yes can always run a slider to gain height. Probz again another 1 1/2

You can get just side mounts which are designed for the Clio but think be way too low then

Yeah I think a subframe is a must, I'll probably get a slider. What side mounts are you using?

Will do.

I've started removing some weight from the car.
Everything has been weighted, photographed and even have an Excell file.

We need to stop hijacking this thread but let us know what you remove. [emoji4] I'm thinking about creating a weight saving thread to list everything that can be lightened on our cars.

Side mounts are just ones from demon Tweeks. They are simialir to corba ones but aren't corba prices. Still FIA approved.

Yeh stop hi jacking the thread lol!

Also got rear fitting in back bumper for mounting the cool down light / bracket!

Are you doing the clubman events?, if so you dont need these lights

U entering?

Hell no.....not good enough!:lol: I've been waying up Affordable track/competition and looked at time attack, but the lure to spend thousands is there, so my action will probably be minor sprints starting at my local...Blyton.
I'll be spectating at Cadwell

Finally 1 half of brake set up has turned up!!

reylands 2 piece discs 8)

also ordered a set of adjustable top mounts to finish setting the car up propley ...

Nice mate, I have those, great discs, plus they are 2kg lighter than standard. [emoji4] what brake pads have you gone for?

Had them on last clio, they do work well especially on track.

gone for ds2500 for now as used them in last one with no issues but
see how get on. If they don't do trick I'll get some
pagid rs29s.

Finally the brake pads arrived yesterday so last night the car was in the air and the brake upgrade was been put on!

Had a bit stress getting the inside pads out, they where stuck solid in the calliper with just brake build up and road crap. It explains why the brake pedal and stopping of car wasnt brilliant as they weren't doing anything lol. So word warning, always worth stripping brakes down now and then just give everything a good clean!!!

So its the reyland 330 disc, with DS2500 pads. Also cheeky shot of the bilsteins :biggrin:

very nice..how do you find the new suspension setup??have you fitted the torque link yet??

torque link is easy enough - just the retaining bolts are quite tight so will need a long strong bar to crack them off..

I'm in awe (also very envious) of the progress made in the time!

Lovely car and I bet its a bit of a weapon now!

Keep up the cool work

Thanks  it is all but rush, would been nicer to have more time.

RS tuning tomoz, get exhaust on and get Paul give her a custom map. Looking forward to it as difference it made on last one was huge considering such small
power gains. Torque been most noticable

Is the isofux bar quite heavy? Have u removed ures?

i was looking at Corbeau ones , my mates got them in his mini but only thing I don't like was the ribbed back. Think might beable to feel it on back quite bad

Just reading your thread mate. Looking good. I have corbeaus in mine and they are fantastic. You can't feel the ribbing and amazingly comfy for a proper bucket.

Just out of interest we have installed a 3.3 ohm resistor in the under seat connector to turn off the air bag light and guess what - it hasn't. Chris is at RST tomorrow so hopefully they can remove the drivers seat airbag from the airbag ecu.

Anyone know why the system hasn't seen the resistor ? We have tried 2 and have checked they are 3.3 ohm !!
