Was browsing the youtube and found this old movie: :bounce1:

I've waited for the S2000 driver to react, that's why 535d had such good start.

This is Clio 197 with V6 airbox, Miltek exhaust & 200cell cat & remap.

Honda has carbon CAI, exhaust,...

535d is stock (usually we're the same 0-180km/h).

Focus ST is Stage 1 (IC, exhaust, intake, remap).

S2000 0-200km/h - slower than Clio 197

BUT - rolling start - 50km/h, 2nd gear - S2000 faster by 2 lengths.

It didn't give a good indication of how the clio 197 and s2000 got off the line as most of it was viewing the interior of the 535d BMW. lol

I've owned an S2000 and a Clio 200 Cup both for 2+ years, a healthy S2000 driven properly is noticeably quicker from standstill and rolling.

Corners and wet roads will see the opposite.

My Clio was 3-4 lengths of a car faster than stock 197 at that moment.

I had a New Brand S2000 and now a brand new Clio RS Gordini CUP. THe S2000 is faster but not so much. In corner I go faster with the Clio RS because I feel more relax and the chassis seems to be more hard and flat. Also the front traction help with the "scary" of a no wanted drift.......
The S2000 and rain obiusly is more fun but also slower....

My tuppence worth. I've owned a R27, a 200 and a S2000.
The Honda is a quicker car, but the Renault is much more easier to drive quickly.
We all know the 197/200 and S2000 have no torque hence why the diesel beemer pulled like a train.

In the normal driving conditions my 197 was as fast as the 535d E60. Only in the wet the 535d pulls away when doing 0-200km/h.

0-180km/h
50-180km/h

After 180km/h 535d starts pulling away (2 lengths of a car when doing 200km/h).

Tried with 2 different 535d and drivers too.

It's the 272hp model.
