Now i will tell you story how to make stupid mistake in car washing and what will be result.
Previous week our primary parking area in my work was reserved for other use.
Because of that, clio was near large spruce trees.
I thought that only trees which have leafs can coat car with tree sap or aphid waste.
I WAS WRONG..
There was storm and rain all over week when i was work. Car was covered with all kind of stuff from trees.
Friday when i did my weekly wash, i saw that car paint was covered with tree sap or something which was more like wet/sand paper feel than absolut smooth and flat clearcoat.
I was tired about my week at work, and i washed car with normal mitt and after that i took my clay mitt from garage.
I soaked it in shampoo and it was easy to use and all tree sap gone after 2-3 passes over roof for example.
Clay mitt
I thought, okay that did the job.
In the evening i parked car in my open garage which has good led lights.
When i saw car left side (this part was repainted 2017 may). It has swirls all over from back to front.. NOOO
Maybe i did not had enough shampoo between paintwork and clay mitt.
I completed many washes for this car and never caused swirls, i have top equipment for washing. Also summer drive only preservers paintwork.
Only solution for me is to fix swirls and do ceramic coating again. In that level i want, there is just 1 man who can do this. It will be same guy who did it 1 year ago.
Car is now under work and i hope it will ready in sunday. There will be same ceramic coating re-applied because machine polishing will take old coating off.
You have to VERY CAREFUL with clay mitt / claybars..
I have done many car contamination cleans with this same clay mitt (BMW for example), and never caused this bad swirls. I dont know is the problem that clio left side which was repainted laqcuer is soft.
