Clicking Clutch Pedal Doing My Head In

Renault have had two goes at fixing this now, and although much better, it is still clicking intermittently right at the top of the clutch pedal travel (when it is released). It really is doing my head in.

I don't use cruise control - can I just get rid of the effing switch - if so, does anyone know how to remove it?

This winds me up too though I usually have music on rendering it inaudible. Pretty sure there are fixes listed here in the forum somewhere.

I've got this too Renault said it was normal when checked

take a hammer to it

try and have a look at the peddle mechanisms themselves. press the clutch with your hand. you will see the culprit immediately. I used felt to stop the click noise
