Clean up of the new clio (new to me)

Car was looking a little flat and trim/exhausts needed seeing to.

Gave the car a clay, machine polished the boot and rear bumper , coated the car with facela g3 wax Really like that stuff. Intend on spending more time on it when the weather improves.

Looking good mate, much better than on Saturday  The Clio debadge makes the back end look that much cleaner imo

I'm actually a fan of the Clio badge on the back, think it looks too bare without it.

Huge improvement ! Stunning back-end now....

What did you use on the diffuser. Impressive stuff whatever that is !

Fantastic.

Thought it looked pretty nice in pic one though to be fair!

Stunningly clean car. Looks absolutely amazing.

Very tidy.

Re plastic trim, I've yet to come across anything better than GTechniq C4. It's unreal. Not the cheapest though.

Wow, that is a huge difference from the first to the second picture! The paintwork looks immense!

Thanks guys, a good spot there! , its poorboys trim restorer on the rear bumper, however it probably needs another coat or so to soak in as its worn off a little in the rain, i reckon another couple coats and it will last. Would reccomend the product, for a tenner or so cant go wrong and i barely used any , it was applied with foam wax applicators and went on easily.

I used Britemax metal twins on the exhaust that made a huge difference. Looking forward to its next wash where i can get to work on the rest of the car.

I was going to say the same, what suspension is it on cause it's very low! Love albi blue.

The car is on Bilstein b14 coilovers lowered apparently about 50mm from standard. So long as you go fairly slow over speed bumps i havent had any scraping issues i think the exhaust must sit fairly deep into the car as it hasnt scraped yet like on previous coilovered cars i have had with similar lows. Could do with some small spacers though dont you think?

10mm stub-axle spacers from Pure motorsport and 10mm front spacers would look great and be somewhat of a mechanically sympathetic compromise ?

I do agree though...........
