Classic car insurance ??

How old has a car got to be to be eligible for classic car I insurance ??
My son is growing up too quickly ( don't all kids ) and looking at buying a car for him that me and him can both do up , as a bit of a project , and then insuring the aid vehicle under classic car insurance , he's been driving years , but yes it will be a small cc vehicle , any thoughts folks ??

Hi,
To be honest there isn't a definitive vehicle age barriers it just depends on each individual scheme. We have scheme that cater for future classic cars that have no age restriction.
