...so I went to a couple of tyre places and they both tried putting the key on the nuts with a long breaker bar....no success....one guy told me he could get a hammer and chessel to the locking nuts but I should face up to the fact that there would be wheel damage however I tried to do it!! So I went away and checked ebay for a suitable tool......found a clever tool that you hammer a soft metal bit into the security nut pattern and it fits in snug....then it uses a impact tool to shift the nut.....advert said 'as used by RAC etc'....so that got me thinking and I called the RAC on the off chance, who very suprisingly agreed to come out on the basis that I needed the wheel changing.....on arrival I explained that the operator had miss-understood my cries for help...but the guy just said he would do it anyway as he was here....sure enough he got the special tool out!! Took him aout twenty minutes to get the nuts out and I replaced them with standard nuts.....so problem solved at last...and good one RAC!! I will have to get some new security nuts though.........ask Karl?
a bit better than hammer and chiesel
