Cams... worth it?

Me too. I think that K tec deal at £1300 sounds a bargain. That includes doing the cam belt and remap too.....Lets offer them £2200 grand to do the both lol

No caf. Thought about it, read loads and seen where others had fabricated ones, they made no difference. I must admit, I think theres a question of the validity of CAF's anyway.

My cams were done two years ago and headwork earlier this year.

Basic porting of err... Ports lol, and some combustion chamber modifications to prevent detonation.

Ah right. I use the car daily so headwork would be hard to have done where as k-tec do that cam package in a day.

What do people recommend then?

Get the cams mate, mid range is still improved! And you'll have much better power 5k onwards, should go to 7.8k. I no the guy that was k tecs development car for that package on his 200, he was very chuffed after. Best package, might as well get inlets to get even better from the midrange, and will be generally smoother!

Nice one mate. Keep us informed of the progress. I'm very tempted to go for it myself. Just waiting my 5th service basically. Do you by any chance know if Ktec does inlets as well? cheers

Its the model catcam that is used in this package. They are the milder cam.
