cambelt quote

eyup guys, been for some qoutes today for my cambelt. heres what i got

local trusted garage quoted me £240 with no water pump

renault garage quoted me £412.36 with no water pump

renault quoted me £540.40 inc water pump


anyone have any idea wether these are good prices? also, should i go with the dealer as i know they will have all the correct tools etc, and also i get 12 month warranty! but i trust the backstreet garage and its £172 cheaper! really stuck on what to do!

its advised to get water pump done aswell buddy as if it fails then the cambelt ect needs to be done again to get to it so its a no brainer tbh

i paid around 500 for mine:
cambelt
auxbelt
waterpump
plus all the other service bits

no mate i got it done by sideways danny on here, all parts direct from renault with warranty too mate look him up and give him a call

whoever quoted you £240 probably thinks it's a 1.2
