Cambelt change up - recommend near Milton Keynes

Hi - read this forum abit about renault specialists for the pending Cambelt change, don't want to spend £1200 at Perrys Aylesbury !

I've tried contacting 519Automotive who were well recommended, but can't get hold of them ! Aah

Any other Renault Specialist recommendations for the Cambelt change within 30miles ?

Think 519automotive are renowned for being difficult to get hold of.

I would normally recommend Dan @ 519 Automotive as I have used him quite a bit and he has been superb. Tried for 3/4 weeks recently and couldn't get an answer as the phone was always off.

Was recommended Bucks Automotive in Aylesbury by a friend who has used them for a few years for his R26.R and other Renaults. Got my car booked in next week for belts, service and cams. They specialise in Renaultsports and prep clio cup cars...

Bucks auto's Definatly! I use them a fair bit for maintenance stuff. Really good guys, great service as well. Recommend them all day long!

Good to hear, thank you. Really good to get the phone answered first time... Just a shame that Dan can't get on top of his comms as he is a great guy and could do very well.

I don't get the whole not answering the phone thing. Bucks autos are really reliable, I wouldn't use anyone else locally.

That's the plan. Going for cat cam 402s. Cost wise not the most bhp for your buck but a nice little upgrade all the same

Hi all, thanks for the advice, I was getting frustrated, but have called Bucks Automotive who were very helpful and friendly, so booked in for after the bank holiday.
Cambelt change £450 with review of water pump to see if needed (add'l £140).
Seems very good to me.

The support from the forum members is very welcome, glad I joined and many thanks to you all. Oh and 24mpg - is that normal ? :biggrin:

Don't let them do this, it's a complete false economy... change that water pump or don't do the job!
