Brakes not braking as hard as they used to

As said in the thread topic. The brakes are more mellow and less responsive than they used to be when new. 11K miles on the clock, been driven around hard. It's time for new pads or should I check something else?

how old is the car,

I picked up a 2 year old car the brakes were shocking, and it had just had a Renault service.

Did a full rebuild and now amazing.

Strip them, clean them, re copper slip them and check out the results before you buy anything.

The rears especially need this doing every 12-18 months.

had this problem to i striped and cleaned what a diffrence it made watch the pins on the front as mine were seized in with the paint off the calliper haha
