Sure I've got the same noise! Sounds like its the parcel shelf. Took it out for a try and made no difference!

A lot of the time its the boot lock and/or catch, give them both a tighten and grease them up. That generally solves the problem. If you do a search on here you should find someone explaining how to get at them, though its pretty simple and just involves a torx driver iirc.

Cheers, will take a look and see. It was fine when i picked up the car but since back in the IOM and roads are bumpier its happened.

Like Robo said its prob the boot latch just needs altering a bit

Mine does it too so i turn the stereo up.:s

I thought i'd read on here to put tape around the catch.
