Boosted 7UP track toy - New Toy Revealed

Love FYD channel, seems like a really nice guy - be good to see a 200 on the channel, the last 200 video was not quite so great!
 
So let's have a little update...

Sprayed my wet wheels white at last just one more to spray up. These will have my ad08r on

As some know I'm going to eventually do the cupracer front end so I've got some EE brackets and subframe supports along with the brace so far, all sprayed up to give it a freshen look.

Now this next part isn't many people's taste, but hey.

Sold my 200'diffuser and got this in return with the sale.. to which I modified to run a center exit exhaust, similar to the meg3 and ginettas.
Or as most will say corsa vxr..

Made myself a mould out of fibreglass for it

Placed it up on my Clio to check it lined up etc

Now I'm just throwing it together quickly so I've something on the back of the car when my custom cat back to center exit will be done.

I'm going 2.75" with a single small silencer to the center exit to which will also have a removable sleeve on the tip to reduce noise more if needed. But this can also be removed for day to day driving etc. So should be getting the car back Friday ready to drive to blyton Sunday for some pictures.

I'm sure some may have seen in the PFC mag also

I've a couple trackdays at donnington coming up, also going on holiday so trying to get my car ready by the weekend!
Direzzas will be going on my yellow wheels and then ad08r onto the white wheels
 
Any particular reason for the center exit? or just for added uniqueness?

Great update. Interesting to see how the diffuser looks when completed.
Any particular reason you're going for 2.75" rather than 3" exhaust? 3" will obviously make more power and allow scope for future updates.

Just to be a bit different I guess but always liked the idea of centre exit. Easier to work with

Most Megane catback are 2.75, ones that are 3" imo sound terrible, far too tractor like. Also to keep the db lower
As for power I do not plan to take it any more than 286, that power is more than enough and I feel I want to be a quick driver rather than having a quick car so it's just a nice number power to take through the front wheels :smile:

Picking the car up tomorrow then direzzas and ad08r will be put on my sets of wheels
 
Been on holiday for a week with my family but soon come around was donnington TD
Didn't want to cut the 197 diffuser but haven't completed my custom one yet

Threw my white wheels on which have the ad08r on and put the cupracer wheels in the boot running direzzas
Also stud conversion on the rear which is far too big for my liking as I'm not running spacers...

Anyway here's some more porn of the welding and the exhaust on.

We again changed it slightly so not it has two small silencers upfront then straight pipe no back box. This makes motorway miles to track so much nicer due to the silencers are right underneath where I'd sit.

Also got round to a hardwire of the go pro so now no more dying battery. So made it as best as I could without running wires across the cage. Goes up and hidden with the original loom

So donnington park today so I'l see how that Goes!! Hoping it's not too wet for me.

I've also a video clip in trying to upload of the sound the car now makes. Honestly sounds incredible :shocked:
