Bonnet catch problem

This happened on the mway earlier. Anyone else experienced similar?

Oh no, not another Mk Clio with a bonnet catch problem! Get it to the dealers mate, just make sure it's nothing you could have done first! Lol!

It shouldn't pop up like that though. Was it definately shut before?

the MK2 I had was actually re-called for a bonnet catch as they were flipping up during motorway driving.

looks to me as though its just not been shut properly frm the picture.

It was shut, it made a sound and popped up (I noticed it immediately).

My car used to do that, then it started bouncing off the catch. Took it to the dealers, the guy said he didnt have time to finish the job as he was finishing soon :rolleyes: Now I shut it by gently pushing it down. I suspect that the bonnet catch may have some up and down adjustment, and that it may have slipped down a bit. I did post a thread on this problem a while back. My bonnet has stayed shut so far...
