Really good that you're having such a great time Ben! As above, hopefully the little fixes will put things right and you can get back to maximum enjoyment!
Ok... Snetterton was good fun this morning. Once the track dried out, got to really test my new Yokos and they didn't disappoint
Lots of race prepped trailered cars on track once it was dry which I found a bit of a bind as spent as much time looking backwards as I did forwards!
Might consider another track next time as Snetterton seems maybe a touch too high for my level of driving expertise.
Cars now in local garage for few bits and unfortunately didn't get finished in time for me to collect. Will post my opinions on new parts tomorrow once I've driven it again.
Good news is that the bits I had done in the garage have worked a treat
After watching my favourite team being dismantled(again) last night I went for a decent blast on my private test track.
Throttle response has improved noticeably. There's more violence to the acceleration across the Rev range and pretty sure there's more power at the top end. Bingo
For the record I had a new Renault camshaft sensor, new spark plugs and a newish(12mnths old) catalytic converter fitted.
No fault codes were found on his reader. If I had to guess I'd say it was down to poor spark plugs. Having looked through my records I've never changed them in 14months of ownership and I can't find documentation of when they were changed before that!
Happy with result. Will confirm it with a service and power run at ED later in year.
