Big bang

Hi my missus went to go out in her clio yesterday reversed out of the space went pull off and there was a big bang,she just parked it backup left it,ive jump in it drove it feels fine no knocks or banging.put it on both full locks forward reverse nothing
Anyone had this b4
Any ideas

Sometimes when i wash the car the rear pads stick a bit and make a bang type noise when they suddenly release/free up as i drive off

Rear brakes are quite prone to binding a bit when it gets cold.

Any chance she might have driven over something? Empty bottle/carton, bag of crisps or something perhaps?

Or the postman...seriously though brakes are a good shout and they make a quite loud noise especially when not driven for a while.

Another vote for the brakes here too, they do stick easily in the cold/wet/damp. If it's running fine since, then it could be just that.

Cheers my mondeo does that with rear brakes so hopefully the samething
