Best place for remap?

It feels so much better!
There's noticably more torque when cruising on m-ways. It pulls in 6th with more 'gusto'. It just generally feels stronger through the whole rev range. The limiter has been raised as well slightly by about 250-300rpm i think. The exhaust sounds awesome too. However, if ir were my daily driver i think i may find it bit loud but as its only driven at weekends its perfect.

Oh and it also has an itg filter

The only problem is where to go next? lol

Sounds good! Looking forward to hearing the exhaust when the meet comes around actually.

Whats your weekday car if you don't mind me asking

Not negative at all.

Me and the Bear have been round RS Clio for ever, (think he's owned one more than me, i'm on my 5th) we know the score, thats all.

Can't people just be happy for the guy as opposed to constantly being negative?

+1
the increase on the rev limiter alone makes a heck of difference irrespective of any dyno figure gains

New people come on forums like this for advice etc, they read threads like this and think the money is well spent because they get a 15bhp boost. Anyone with experience of these motors knows you have to spend over £1k to get those sort of gains.

If you're happy with the result in terms of how the car drives, awesome. But making out that is has given 15bhp is nonsense on the part of the suppliers.

I had a remap done, but was given an honest and upfront account of the results, they didn't massage the printouts to make out you get more than you actually do. I'm more than happy with the way it drives.

Decent specialists don't need to bs, the quality of the product speaks for itself!

Some posts have disappeared from this morning

I will try and scan in the RR read out for you guys to see tomorrow.

I would say a "live" map on a standard car is just to improve drivability no point in even asking about gains as its not really going to touch it. All tuning companies really do is fiddle with the things that make a car feel faster ie throttle response, fuel ratios and ignition timing.

Lets say for instance the average standard car puts out 186BHP at wheels with a Remap on a N/A engine its probably around 190-192 BHP

yes it feels faster but its more about drivability, Exhaust companies claim silly figures too lol i think even akrapovic claims 15bhp lol

TBH before i had it done i would have been happy with 5bhp more but to get 10bhp (according to the graph) im chuffed! I didnt do the mods for power anyway, as you said driveability.

I'm having my car remapped by Paul. :thumbup1:

EDIT: And each one is better than the last one.
