Not much of an update but had a great few days in Lakes and some glorious weather.. sadly didn’t get chance to pull over and take some lovely scenic shots, however did squeeze these two in... also had a brief chance to push it in the twisties however much to the protesting of the missus!

Nothing much to report on progress wise but had my first track outing yesterday at the lovely Snetterton Circuit with afew rag tag members from here
Car ran perfectly considering how much a novice I am and how standard she is. I really got on with the ad08r’s.
I think going forwards I need to invest in some better brake pads, as the day wore on and my confidence grew brake fade was rearing it’s ugly head but didn’t stop me from having a good time and was nice to have such company.

UPDATE:
Well after Snetterton the brake issue wore on my mind and a lot of team clique members here have forced me into going to Donington park on the 13th so I thought it’ll be best to upgrade the current set up...
It had new Brembo pads & HC Disc to the fronts only in may so I’ll swap the pads out for pfc Z rated ones. The rears are showing they’re age and need to be replaced so I’ve gone with drilled discs and DS2500 pads. Whilst I’ve been upgrading the brakes it’ll be worthwhile doing the fluid too so I’ve also ordered 2litres of RBF660 brake fluid.

All booked in for fitting Saturday so plenty of time to get it worn in before track day no2.

Excited to go to Donington, heard good things just hope the weather is as nice as Snetterton was.
