Ball Joints, how much?

Hi

So had the MOT on saturday and have play in the ball joints and been told they will need replacing. Both sides need doing

Anybody had this before, and how much did it cost?

Brace yourself, three ball joints each side, two are part of the hub carriers (inner and outer) the other is part of the lower arm.

I replaced mine couple of times. Renault sells the whole lower arm and top and want 400 pounds a piece . it is like 1600 pounds for both sides. Only Renault sport sells every part separately.
