Auto Dim Mirror

Hi everyone
I am suffering for removing my current mirror attached on the car And dont want to crack my wind screen
And I try searching some old thread for how to remove them but all the results are only suggesting pushing upwards
So is it pushing to the front of the car or the rear of the car fr removing them?

I don't quite understand what you mean by towards the front and rear. Push it up towards the roof of the car. It shouldn't take to much effort going by the fact that mine fell off in my hand adjusting it a few week ago.
