Anyone know what's causing this noise? Video included

What is causing this strange noise? It started two days ago and is coming from the belt/waterpump area. You can only here it when parked up, and more so with the bonnet open. Water pump was changed last year.

Sorry the videos high pitched. I'm referring to the grumbling sound not the actually diesel engine noise the twingo makes when idling.

My god I have a Tank at home that makes that noise not good hope you get it sorted soon mate.Let us know what it is when you've sorted it

It's booked in for Tuesday! Could it be the water pump bearing? It really isn't noticeable unless you open the bonnet or park up somewhere quiet.

I've just found out from the garage the water pump needs replacing.

The water pump/belts/coolant were replaced when I got the car Feb 2012 and it was on 20,000miles. Since then I've done 5500miles.

Apart from an over tightened belt or faulty replacement waterpump, can you think of anything that could cause this? The garage are fresh out of possibilities
