Anyone here hillclimb using 1a tyres what's there preference?

Going to run the clio in road going next year, what tyres do people use?

List 1a looks like a pain in the arse to choose from, Michellin Pilot Super Sport are probably the best tyre performance wise.

Do they have to be 1a then? Can use both 1a and 1b in most road going formulas.
