Anyone have any idea how to fit tweeters and crossovers in a 197

Hey Guys,

I've just fitted a set of components into the doors of a 197 which was easy enough but have no idea how to access the standard tweeters to change them or where best to mount the crossovers?

Any tips/suggestions would be awesome as I cant find out how anywhere!

Managed to replaced the tweeters which wasnt too difficult. The crossovers however I'm gunna have to give in to! The wires behind the dash and under the seat are a joke! :tongue_smilie:

I’m about to embark on the same.

Would like to fit 17cm speakers in the doors, fit tweeters and hide some crossovers somewhere too. Will require running some cables.

Doesn’t seem to be much info available from a quick search. Anyone done this? Will throw an amp and sub in the boot at some point I expect.

I would spent the extra and got integrated units so you don't have to mess around with small boxes. Possible to refit a different unit? would be worth the headache. Integrated component boxes are the way to go.
