impressive teammates as well. didn't know volker strycek was still driving.
Yes, we're good friends and even share a pit garage at VLN
I really enjoy the new suspension and trust Leo from Madeno absolutely to get the best product for my needs.
We run his Öhlins-products in our race cars for years and won several championships and races with them.
The BMR kit (fast road version) is a perfect choice for backroad driving but still more "comfortable" then the stock dampers (which were 9 years old though ...). The car feels more planted and doesn't loose the contact to the road any more over hard bumps. At the moment I use stock top mounts and still need to put in the new bushings into the suspension parts. So I hope it will get even more direct for next year
The louder/faster/crazier brother of my AG200 is "Nemo", our Ex-VLN-racer that now is waiting for trackday-duties. It has roughly 230hp through an R3-engine, an Öhlins-suspension and wider arches. We also ran a couple of races with a flat floor, a big diffusor and a splitter but it didn't work out the way we hoped it would.
But aren't other teams like Gerrit's for example also running their Clios without a wing?
I had no clue about the differences and expected you'd all run about the same setup. Thanks for clearing that up.Yes but they are also not running the splitter / diffusor / flat floor setup like we did. I think you have to balance the splitter / diffusor with a wing because otherwise the balance gets messed up. The car felt like that at least back then
No wing is absolutely the way to go for top speed on the nordschleife, that is for sure.
