Alien Green 200 CUP

Track day pics.

Car was mega. The CUP racer EE brackets combined with the rest of PMS gear was just night and day different.
The car shown it needs a tad more power and to lose some weight but other than that had a great day.

Actually towards the end it became a pain to start, I thought it was the starter motor going but when I actually paid attention to what was going on, it seemed the immobiliser wasn’t going off and fuel pump wasn’t priming.

Anyone had this issue or known of it?

Did you get any messages on the dash like steering not locked?
Yeah but was brake system failure. The brake system failure warning come up on track once also.
When I plugged the snap on diagnostics in it didn’t recognise the car(had to select make model etc) had a few faults, even a cluster fault.

Once cleared it was fine, done a stink on track and was all good, plugged the machine in and it recognised the car. Had a break m before heading back out and wouldn’t start, crank over once and then was just dead. Solid red light on the dash

Compression test showed the engines strong in the clio. So whipped the plugs out and one of them seemed to be alot worse then the others.

I need to do the cambelt etc so decided to pull the engine and box. Once I got it on the engine stand I pulled the top part of the inlet off to find a lot of s**t around the injectors and oil residue in the inlet.
Suspect I have a dodgy injector and seals at least, along with the crank case breather on its way out.
