Albi Blue RS 200 Intro

Hi guys I've recently purchased what is in my opinion a lovely little Albi blue rs 200 owned it for around the best part of a month now and absolutely love it.
I've purchased the K-tec manifold to replace the OEM manifold as the two flexi have now come to the end of their lives, is there anything else anyone else would recommend changing/upgrading?

I'm currently looking at changing the suspension and brakes but can't for the life of me find any BBK anywhere, so if anyone knows where I can find some that would be greatly appreciated. Also considering the supercharger route but I'm back in the same situation with the BBK, I can't find anyone or anywhere that supply and fit, so if someone knows which direction to point me in that would also be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Matt

Hi.

If you get some PowerFlex mounts/bushes for the engine bay you can reduce the engine movement and hopefully protect your new manifold. You could get an upper toque bush, upper engine mount insert, gear box insert and lower engine mount.

BBK - Big Brake Kit? The car comes with Brembo callipers at the front which most people stick with. One upgrade is to put Megane callipers on the Clio with bigger discs.

K-Tec have started to do a supercharger kit now.

Hi bud thanks for the reply.

I have bought a Powerflex upper torque bush and lower engine mount, I will have to have a look at the rest. Anything to prolong the life really.

Thats it mate yeah, I do a lot of track days and didn't know whether or not a pad and disc upgrade would be enough? If not I'll definitely have a look at the Megane callipers.

Oh okay I'll have a look at that now cheers bud.

The current calipers are up for the job, put some better brake fluid in, out some good pads, can stick with Brembo HC discs and you'll be able to abuse them fine. No real need to go for a different BBK unless you're going full on racing (but even then what you have now with what I said above would work, Cup Racers managed fine).

Welcome

I would suggest to consider cat-back exhaust system (recommend to have high-flow cat) either with/without resonator (depend how loud you would prefer).

adding to what @suj mentioned, you can consider performance pad (e.g. Ferodo DS2500 for fast road as the race one will be bit annoying when they are cold!) along with Brembo Disks. once you take SC route, then consider for BBK

An induction kit would be nice to have as well

Finally, a tune file to enjoy NA meanwhile. :innocent:

Totally agree with keeping brakes stock but upgrading pads to Ferodo as above And KTR braided hoses and fluid, see my R27 build thread. i have details on my full system exhaust on there as well.
I also put the KTR suspension all round.
Have fun.

Hi bud, I've been looking at the akraprovic evolution line I'll see what high flow or sports cats fit that.
I've been looking at the godspeed front 330mm and rear G hook. As for pads I was going to go for Winmax WN1's up front and WN3's on the rear, but I'll take a look at the Ferodo DS 2500, do you have these on personally?

Induction kit is a must definitely.

I absolutely love NA engines the reason for buying the Clio was that I've put my e92 m3 in storage and the Clio was the next obvious choice.

Cheers bud I've bought the KTR braided lines and the cars going in for a brake fluid change with cooksport at the end of the month.
Is that KTR's own brand sorry?

Yes, I do have DS2500 on my Megalio and works absolutely fine at both cold and hot temp.
