Albi Blue F1 - pretty standard

Hi all,

So I got my F1 at the tail end of last year. I'm not massively into modding my cars and in fact I quite like to keep them standard. I do like to keep them clean though..!

A few months back I bought some Gordini wheels from a member on here ( @Gordini ) and I finally got round to fitting them the other day. I've been a bit unsure on whether I liked them or not, but happy to say that they have definitely grown on me!

Anyway here are some pictures...

The car has obviously been well looked after; not only does it drive very well, but the bodywork is in really good condition - given the mileage (110k!).

I haven't yet given the car a polish of any sort, but the paintwork still turns out like this after an application of Glosstar Gloss Spray (bit of self promotion there!)...

Nothing else planned for it. Just going to enjoy driving it over the summer

Not a huge fan of the Gordini wheels but they look in great condition.

Great looking R27 you've got there Nick, and those wheels suit it quite well I think! Good on you for keeping it standard too, not many in their original condition these days! Also good to see one on quite a high mileage that's clearly been driven and enjoyed plenty in its life!

Well, as you asked...

It was a UK model, so had the 3 litre flat 6 with 240hp. 4-wheel drive and manual, with Bilstein suspension as standard. It was an awesome, underrated car and I still think is one of the best all rounders (apart from mpg - circa 18!)

Sold it to get the Clio, do I regret it? Sometimes yeah.

I'd love to try one of the JDM 2.0 twin turbo models one day!

Car is looking great mate. Loving the wheels, they suit it well - don't curb them as they're perfect! Having seen the car in person, I can confirm its superb condition, incredible given the use it's had
