airbox help on my 200

Need abit of help really, my insurance have said my car has to be modified so I've said I will put a performance panel filter on, I want to put a pippercross one on but they don't make one for the 200 yet, will one for a 197 fit and if they do can anyone link me to a good one, I don't want a full induction kit because I like the noise and power that the 200 makes atm, it's just for insurance purposes. My car is a 59 plate 200 btw.

197 and 200 air boxes are the same - to be honest there are (or seems) to be no external differences on the engine - changes are either internal or electronic

for a panel filter try k-tec they have a choice

k tec racing do an itg panel filter, it more or less the same as pipercross, they use a foam filter

By looking at the design and shape of the foam i'd say the K-tec panel filter is a poorly masked pipercross design anyway.

Lol what insurance are you with mate?

( 200 has different inlet valve aerodynamics and a lower powerband remap i believe. )
