Ultimate sin! Haha. I got cheap tyres once for an MOT on the Meg as it needed some and my local garage didn't have any 235/45/18 lying around other than some cheap rubbish... Had the feel of the plastic tyres usually found on a kids ride along... Same grip too! As soon as the MOT was done I ordered the original Sport Maxx which were also OEM for the Meg Trophy.
Have you made any mods to yours yet? I've just ordered a KTec panel filter, but then came on here and saw the guy with the Flamer who has the ITG... :drool: I'll see how it goes with the panel first, then maybe in a couple months order an exhaust... Possibly Milltek.

No mods yet apart from adding a foot plate for the left foot and some silver vision bulbs, I will be playing with some plasti-dip later this week to take it from stealth to ultra stealth (it's black) with maybe a bit of gold bling down the door flashes. Asked ITG for a price on their kit as it's not on the site yet (£240) not too sure on the whoosh though, the K-tec kit doesn't sound as in your face.
Will give it a couple of years then see if AAS will do an exhaust for it (had my 182 done there, brilliant bit of kit - now K-tec have started following that style)

Sounds nice, might have to try plasti-dip myself, guess if you end up not liking it or want a change, it's easy done... Yours will look sweet all stealth! If I went for black I'd have definitely gone stealth. I'm trying to picture it with the gold and all I can picture is the old John Player F1 car or today's Lotus F1.... So gold for the win! Haha
i just received the panel filter today and it's a tiny bit deeper sound under the bonnet and you can hear it dump, but not too loud, so I don't offend anyone! Haha.
I went to see about silver bulbs but no one had the fronts in stock and haven't even looked at the rears yet... Where did you get yours? I've just changed the number plate bulbs to ice white.... Just debating on badges... Leave them, black them or remove them???? Hmmmmmm

ebay are doing the Philips silver vision for the rears at around £8 the fronts being PY24W are a bit more pricey but the silver ones still look orange so going for the 30W cree led ones - hopefully they'll be brighter than the standard bulbs - nothing ventured and all that.
Plasti-dip works a treat if it looks naff or you cock it up just peel it off.

Cheers mate, I'll have a look on eBay for them, let me know what you think of the LED's for the front. Just had a thought... As you have a black one and I have white... And if you're a newcastle supporter... A cheeky photo session outside of St. James' would look pretty cool. Haha

definitely worth the wait... Thankfully [MENTION=5471]djjackwilson[/MENTION] found one, so I avoided the waiting list... Honestly couldn't think of a better, practical all rounder... The Mrs put her foot down in it and had the biggest smile ever... So she's now come round to the idea after suggesting an estate! Haha

after reading some of the comments with waiting lists for 200T's I can only say you're a legend for finding this one... Honestly don't think I could have waited! Haha

Id certainly be the one to say go for it, it just feels special... I know what you read about the ST and how it's better, because it's got the 172/182 formula, but that wasn't what I was after, I was after something that you can use as a practical car (five doors), if I'm feeling lazy or sat in traffic (auto box) then if I want to have fun or do a trackday (race mode)... It has a far better spec than it's rivals and on that basis I can certainly justify the price tag... So overall I'm well over the moon!
And to be fair.... Is the ST really better? I don't think it is at all... Maybe I'll have to test drive one to see what the hype is all about!

That looks very nice mate, it's really suiting the stealth look... Are you doing the diffuser? I imagine it's a nightmare, you'd have to take it off?
how about Tuesday not next week, week after? I work alternate Saturdays so get every other Tuesday off, so it should be fairly quiet too being a week day? 19th August.
