5 year or 72k Service Cost

Just went into the dealers to book my car in for a 60k and asked about the above and to my shock and disgust they quoted me £750 just for the Cambelt change and then a service on top so you're looking at around £1000 anic:

Is that actually how much it should be or are they having a laugh?? Hoping that Fred at BTM will be less busy in a few months when mine's 5 years old!!!

yes thats correct mate however i think BTM / K-tec do it for £350 or so!!

Wtf!!!! Just buy the belts and get a renault specialist to do it, is it cambelt at 5years then?

That's actually horrific!

Sure is 5 years. Cam and Aux not to mention Brake Fluid too I'll definitely be getting Fred or a Specialist to do it!

I'll be throwing some new cams in when the belts are changed in ours. Thats what I did with the 182, Fred only charged me an extra £50 to do the work

Thanks for the correction Si! Had mine done a while back when I was worried about my brakes and rear end twitch lol that sounds wrong but meh!
