3m SCOTCHGARD protective film

anyone used this on their car?, my bumper is a right state with stone chips (at the lip mainly) so was thinking of getting it sorted them getting a pre cut kit for the bottom

I wouldnt bother getting anything resprayed atm as the roads round the runcorn etc are horrendous (sp) with this weather the roads are getting destroyed and they are going to be re-surfacing everywhere so I would wait untill the summer to get it sorted tbh.

Just a thought anyway!

Funny that, I was thinking about this my self.

There is a company that can apply it for you but I don’t think it’s that hard to do, just have to make sure there are no bubbles.

Not sure if it works though, don’t know anyone who has it.

wouldnt this mean though you'll get a difference in finish when you polish it? I wouldnt mind getting some just on my front bumper maybe, dont know if Id bother with the bonnet...

As above aswell Id deffinately wait till summer, unless your stick on the scotchgard straight outa the paintshop
