200 clocks in a 197

Hi, just posted in the new owners section, but I've a question to ask under this sub heading. The previous owner has last week installed the newer 200 clocks into the 197. They all work, that's fine. Is it possible to have the digital mileage edited to match the old clocks removed (+miles done since)?

Yep, very easy. Check you local area for people offering mileage correction services. I know round me they tend to advertise in the local paper.

When I worked for VW you could only do this on NEW 0 mileage clocks. You get one chance at putting in the correct mileage. If you do it wrong, you f***ed it. Used clocks couldn't be corrected, other wise a lot of people might want to lower their mileage a tad.

Although that is over engineered VW so could be different on Renaults.
