Had the Clio exactly 1 week.... Today its had 4 new Michelins, 2 track rod ends, new rear caliper, Redline gearbox oil change, and a set of wipers.
I`m happy spending on it, and you soon forget about the money when you go for a drive. (until something breaksGet your wallet ready.
Clios don't like you having money in them haha.
But, if you have a gearbox fault you can use man maths and drop in a LSD.

I have kept a spreadsheet of all the money I have spent on my Clio. It is painful to look at it. Spend your money, as long as you can afford it, and enjoy it.

Let me know where your getting the work done, that sounds reasonable. Ive been quoted 1k for a refurb box, £660 for cambelt, £790 for clutch. £290 for a service. Fitting new discs, pads, and a caliper service this weekend, and I need to sort the manifold out too because its having a bit of a disagreement with the bulkheadI recently bought a ropey 200 for reasonably cheap price. It's so far cost £2000 to get up to standard. Gearbox refurb, cambelt, clutch, water pump, cup dampers with cooksport springs, ball joint, service and I'm sure there is more. Need to do pads, lines, fluid and tyres and seat subframe yet. Cars are never cheap!

Yeah ouch, that's sounds like you're being over charged. Chris at Beaniesport is sorting mine out. He's worth contacting for sure.Let me know where your getting the work done, that sounds reasonable. All those quotes (apart from the service) are the going rate in the southeast. Not sure where you’re based but for the cost of a tank of petrol I’m sure you can find somewhere cheaper.Let me know where your getting the work done, that sounds reasonable.
