06 nimbus 197 daily track toy

new battery worked a charm.. there are little things you notice but choose to ignore thinking it will be OK... because its been dark on the way home the lights tend to fade with the revs. I also have a power point splitter which gives and indication of the battery which as soon as I turned the car off it would go red which in the instructions would advised the battery needs changing i didn't think nothing of this as the car started and worked every time however these little things all add up after fitting the new battery the car was off and the light stayed green (with the ignition on) and the lights oh my they are working I think they need turning down a bit now.. no flickering or nothing..

Micro RTS with blue stitching will be here with in 7-14 days whoops ah well

Then went onto prestwold hall for some driving in somebody else's car and that was good..

And then came back to my new part turning up the 64mm throttle body..

The small drive I had round the block then down the road this is brilliant it feels much more urgent when revving and pulls nicely with it aswell no issues massively with the revs well it's not as erratic as some people say..

Gravel rashed and ready to go swapped back over to the speed lines and whacked the fronts on the back now just need fronts again.

Looks good mate! The 64mm tb worth while? Bit sceptical about it..

What made you swap the seats out aswell?

It was one of the things I have been looking at for a while I feel the body makes the car feel much better and not as restricted (didn't feel that bad with my mods anyway) it just opens it up even more and the seats I've wanted to do for a while I have always felt on the UK tracks with how grippy the rest of the car is my seats are not 100% don't get me wrong there much better than standard but just wanted something more

Seats turned up last week and it didn't take me long to get them in.. also decided to re locate the inner eye bolts for the harnesses 20190326_165006.jpg
So much happier now with how they are mounted but this isn't the big bit..

I have moved the seats several times and I think I am happy where they are so will have to keep checking..

I did another thing today....

Cleaned the car. Again... this time did some work on the steering wheel to get it nice and soft..
