06 nimbus 197 daily track toy

so went out yesterday and the car feels good with the back end a bit stiffer I feel the tyres will be getting a proper work out now so need to re-evaluate the pressures when out on track. But to put it in a different way its made the back end feel stiff and this is making the car point faster when turning the wheel now I really cant wait to get it do Donington for some testing..

Sorry I haven't updated this in a few days.. here is what's been going on.. not a lot.

Cleaned it ready for Sunday service then it got covered on the way..

What a day Donington was epic I had a real blast car was on point as ever even if there was a little slip up..

After discovering a knock which wasn't there before I went about stripping the back end down and found.... nothing but decided to get the winter/wet wheels on..

And took a step back and look at the freshly beaten AD08Rs

They have took a bearing this year.. rears are on 9 trackdays lol.

I have given the wheels a clean but haven't checked them since they have dried but hopefully they are ok..
 
Fantastic update, pics and video! I can't believe the timing, as soon as you said "what can possible go wrong" the rear just went!

Any cosmetic damage from the gravel trap apart from the wheels mate?

I know it was mad.. and I haven't cleaned it yet to see the only thing I have noticed is the side skirt is cracked on the drivers side.. but this is also the side I had painted after the jack slipping off but it is getting pushed up onto the door and has rubbed through so it needs painting anyway

Again not much has been going on I went to collect a new side skirt which was nice also got chucked in the door seal as mine was damaged.

Went to my pals house to start his gearbox took a few hour with lunch..

Then set about sorting out my skirt. Got it off and broke the clips so just waiting to get them

So at the moment my car is sitting there with no side skirt on but ah well..
